pipsie my penguin,

Pipsie originates from the cold regions of Antarctica. She was separated from her loving family one day when a nasty poacher caught them and decided to sell them to the zoo. Pipsie’s family now stays in the Antarctica Zoo and performs in an animal show every weekend. Fortunately, Pipsie was able to escape from the nasty poacher and she eventually made the decision to search for a safer place to live in. Soon, she found herself swimming in the seas of Alaska. Even though she is now separated from her family, she remains strong and is a very independent young penguin.

Pipsie owns a very acute sense of smell and sight. Her powerful eyes enable her to see things which are far away. She owns a very good sense of smell which allows her to decide on which food is fresh for her to eat. Pipsie is also good at swimming. Her strong flippers help her to swim fast in the cold waters. She has also developed her special power of generating huge ice balls which she uses to protect herself from her enemy.

i'm pretty much satisfied with what i had managed to do this week. but i have to say that life have been quite boring for the past few days. nothing else have been in my way except for school. mst is coming soon. in a way, i'm looking forward to it (more like looking forward for it to end) haha. i'll be having contact lens fitting practical test on tuesday. good luck to me.

one very important point i've picked up this week is to be ambitious but remember that there's always someone who'll be better of than you, no matter how successful you are. the moral of the story is simple, take one step at a time & have a mind of your own. live life to the maximum.

bitter, sweet memories will still linger on.

i just got to know that they're taking them off the list of the uniform groups offered in the school. its just so sad to see all of them going to seperate ways due to such an unfair decision. even though we were such a small group, we remained strong and never fail to prove ourselves as determined young girls with passion for everything we do. guiding has instilled so many values which for me, is irreplaceable. the most valuable thing which i got through the 4 years of guiding was to develop and grab hold of leadership qualities which until now made a very great impact on me. i've learnt to be more outgoing and my sense of responsibility started to grow even more as i get to handle tough, real life situations. i will never forget the moments which i've spent with my fellow guides, be it my seniors, my juniors or the ones from my batch. its been such a pleasure to be ranked the company leader for one and a half year and i'm just a little disappointed about their decision to stop the cca in the school. i've gone through a lot during the 4 years of guiding, not mentioning the "i am so lazy to go for girl guides cos its so boring ..." moments which i had during lower secondary. guiding has helped me made a lot of new friends, making me aware that we're living in a small world after all. just when i thought the new batch were ready to bring guiding to a new level, they dumped my hopes into the drain just like that :( to me, they're the best group of girls i've ever been with. i'll remember yuhua 1st company forever and if it ever comes back, all the best yhs 1st coy. cos we're always the best!

oh yea, its friday! i want to have a peaceful and calm weekend pls. apart from that, i shall soon start reading through the lecture notes one by one, or should i say, stack by stack. i can merely absorb only 60% of the notes during lectures with my half dead brain. i write nonsense in my notes too, like patient workout when its suppose to be patient workup.haha gundu samy. focus, focus!!! come, let me draw your attention to this samsui woman below:

contact lens prac this week was fun cos we got to use the slit lamp again. my lecturer saw how white eyeliner looked like after so many years of him practising slit lamp examination on god knows how many people. "how come you put your eyeliner not perfect shape...?" hahaha.

i had lunch at NP alumni. very sedap the chicken baked rice. its been a while since i met nadiah so, i decided to head to her sch and have lunch there. nadiah, which table you sitting at? chicken or fish? HUAHAUHAUA! i met a primary school friend there and OOI445OIo98 ehshhsoorawwwwwhheeeeee shhh, secret!! weewit ;) belom jadi, belom jadi. hahaha. after eating with the girls and nadiah, i went back to school for contact lens lecture. after the lecture, we went to spoc to book the extra lab session when my phone rang so damn loudly in the clinic till i panic like crazy. i was so scared that someone will catch me and give me demerit points for making noise (coming from the phone) in the clinic cos there were patients there and students are actually not suppose to walk around while there are patients. but we had no choice cos we had to book the extra lab session. lucky no one except for some yr 3 students and eenek heard my loud phone :/, shy ah. where to hide my face? next time i must bring plastic bag to put my head in it. i met nadiah after school and accompanied her to the library to borrow some books for her lessons with the nursery kids. i realise that i had not enough exposure to children books when i was young. haha, i never liked reading books, i only liked those with nice pictures. look at the pictures which nadiah and i found in this particular book. they look so nice. thumbs up for the person who drew this masterpiece. so cute!

i am no robot and i'm tired of getting up at 6am everyday for school. how i wish i can have a driver to drive me to school. or at least let me have wings to fly. school is tiring, really :/ it rained today and it somehow made me calm and collected even though it was pouring heavily outside. both my hamsters are sleeping and i have noone to talk to. my brother is out with his friends and i'm all alone at home now. lucky its a wednesday today, the best day of the week ;) at least i get to watch tv and lie on my bed without having to get into a deep sleep and suddenly waking up to the sounds of the alarm clock and my mom waking me up for sch. haha. now i'm just waiting for my hair to grow even longer so that i can go for a trim. all those split ends have got to go, soon. my red fringe looks damn sick and i think i'm gonna dye it dark brown soon. for now, lets just stick with the red hair till i get the time to dye it brown back.

on friday; the longest 3 hour break *winks*

to end the very perfect friday, we went to eat ice cream.long story. but we ended up sitting at swensens for more than half an hour just to wait for the student deal.hahaha.we went to town for 2 consecutive days during the long break on thursday and friday. at least it was a better idea than going to IMM. i wonder where we're heading to during our next long break.

oh, this morning i had a make up prac session in school. so i had to wake up early after my very long night sleep just to make up for monday's prac session which we missed due to the holiday. went to eat after the prac session. then off we went to visit my grandmother at paris, eh oops not paris, pasir ris.haha.

haha, my date hamsumn rite? i know, very hamsumn. right after leaving the east side, we went to eat satay, mutton chop and mee goreng over at the west side. wah, jogging tmr? insyallah :)

i want to go swimming with my cousin tmr, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, we've decided to opt for another day. i guess tmr will just be another normal sunday at home.

reminders for myself: i better stop buying more bags before my dad explodes and continue nagging non-stop. i must go jogging at least 2 times a week. i shall eat less and spend less to save money. i have to be more confident during prac sessions. i will try my very best to come home early for the next couple of weeks cos i'm very tired of reaching home late and i get very sleepy easily. how i wish school havent started.haha, its kinda late to say that now huh. nvm, school is fun. i only wish to graduate faster then i can decide what i can do in my life. then again, graduating will only come near if i put in effort. its hard to cope up these days. but i know i can, slowly. again, insyallah.

oh before i start this post, i would like to wish a very happy deepavali to all my friends celebrating deepavali.vanekam (:

since school started, i've never blogged about what have been happening in school. now let me jot down what i've been doing in school for the past few weeks. almost all the prac sessions are quite boring, a little mundane i shall say. fitting contact lenses into another person's eye for the first time was an interesting experience. & of course it got much more interesting and more nerve wrecking when we had to fit hard lens onto another person's eye especially when the person's eye is small. slit lamp examination became much more easier to handle even after 3 months of not using it.haha, so fun.i have no comments about the other prac sessions. lectures have been all about highlighting and writing new stuff onto papers. i think i'm still a bit lost about some new topics. nvm, i'll get the hang of it SOON. the only time i fully enjoy a 2 hour lesson is during my gems lesson, cartoon and games designing for animation (:

look at my drawing, like primary school drawing rite? hehe. cool okay. i love my gems, hip hip horray! other than that, the time table for this semester kind of sucks cos of the long hour breaks in between lessons and the long hours spent in school. i can easily doze off during the last few hours of lecture in school. and i think i get distracted very easily, especially when i get hungry in between lectures. maybe i should think less about food now. its time to go jogging whenever i have free time. its hard to not be self concious nowadays since many people judge others by their first impressions. haha. okay, enough updates about school.

its been a long week filled with practicals, lectures and tutorials. overall, school have been fine. and for the whole of this week, my daily routine after school is to help my mom bake cookies for the deepavali orders. i was shagged by the time i finish each batch of cookie dough. i even got sick of baking at one point of time. & finally, we're done with the orders. i'm satisfied that i can at least give a helping hand to my mom even though sometimes i wish i can sleep and make the cookies at the same time. its been a long week i tell you. only my mom knows how i feel. haha, she'll tell me to go to bed once she sees my sour face with sleepy eyes and hands in the bowl of cookie dough. i'm glad that we're finally done with baking, yay! (:

i went out with my cousin yesterday, together with her friend. we sat at vivo and talked about a lot of stuff. i'm really impressed by how some people can readily move on with their life and totally erase the bad feelings they have in themselves. you know, one thing i realise about myself is that i'm constantly reminding myself to forget about the past but in the end, i'll still end up dwelling on the same thing over and over again. i think i should stop. i'm begining to feel stupid and this really sucks. whatever happens, it happens for a reason. live with it, yea!

nadiah, today was such a fun day. you brought the house down. hehehehehe. no la, u brought my room down! gila girls attack!!! relief teaching will be boring without you by my side. thank you for going to the canteen with me so that i can buy papaya to eat and you can buy green tea which made you uwekk uwekkk, puke! hehehe. relief teaching is getting more fun but i do miss my pri 1 & pri 2 kids. i prefer the lower pri children rather than the big but cannot listen to instructions upper pri students. monday i'll be reliefing morning session again!!! good luck to all the students taking their PSLE this year.

i took over a malay teacher and i had to relief the upper primary classes. and damn, they're much more difficult to handle than the cute lower primary students. i miss my p1&2s.

the first class which i went to was okay cos they had some work to do. but at the start of the lesson, a stupid hornet had to come flying around the damn classroom and made the kids like monkeys. "CIKGU TOLONG CIKGU..." so, i asked them to open the windows and doors to let the hornet out frm the classroom. i myself was also scared of the bloddy big, black hornet! i couldnt take it and so i went next door to ask help from nadiah but then i figured that it was just a small matter, i shouldnt bother nadiah's class. hahaha. then when i went back, the hornet was gone and the class was less chaotic. then the children told me

"eh cikgu gi mane tadi? cikgu lari eh dari lebah tu, cikgu takut kan? tak baik tinggalkan kite."

they said i was scared that i ran away from the classroom to escape from the hornet. which is partially true. hehehe :P

the second class was a total heart boiling session for me. the class was directly opposite the p6 classes which were occupied by the PSLE candidates who were doing their first exam paper. the class which i reliefed was really out of control and noisy. play chess la, play basket ball la, omg. eventually, i managed to settle the class down when i threatened to confiscate their games and tell them that i'll get the discipline misterss up to the classroom. lucky their noise lvl wasnt that bad, kalau tk kene cepluk ngan aku! (eh betol ah nadiah, tk makan saman betol. dah tak puase pon tak nak makan saman aku!! grrrr). haha, then the last class was the best i tell you. one short, small p5 student came to me, looked at me from head to toe and said,

"eh cikgu, cikgu macam minah rep ah cikgu! ni rambut semua macam gini, betol ah! minah rep ah."

LOL GILAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

the same boy continued talking to me about his brother and some mat motor racing. he even told me about passing by the lorongs at geylang hahaha siao, aku pon layankan.

"pompuan indon tu dtg pat abg saye, pastu dia kate, MAS 50 DOLLAR AJA MAS...."

he did it with hand and body movements. cute but noisy ah these kids!

kesian anak murid ni, hhuauhauhau! nadiah asked her students to write their hari raya experience and that was what one of her students gave to her. some were nicely drawn with meaningful sentences. but some, like this one above, just makes me wanna laugh. so cute la they all, i wonder what he actually wanted to say. SUBUT ALHAMDULILLAH. lol!

ahh, i'm so shagged but the raya spirit have been keeping me high, as high as my bibik who gets crazy over my mom's steam fruit cake. hahaha. ok, so the past few busy days of cleaning the house here and there, baking, cooking, mopping have all paid off.we're all happy, syukur alhamdulillah.

yesterday, the atmosphere was filled with love, happiness, sadness, all the things in the world which cannot be described. i was just really touched by how my family have moved on despite all the challenges we have faced up till now. of course, there were sad and happy moments. whats raya without sad moments rite? especially during the times we seek forgiveness from the elderly.

okay, forget about the previous post. no use talking about it anyway. HARI RAYA IS IN 2 DAYS TIME!

lets get the ball rolling, its time to get busy!

i went to my grandmother's place on friday to help her clear her stuff. since my uncle is busy working, we went there and helped him to change the bedsheets and stuff. kesian my paman. i think i have the best uncle in the world who loves to give me food to eat, who always motivates me to study hard, who always make me smile whenever i come to his house. he just never fail to make me feel happy. so, what more can i do but to repay his acts of kindness by helping him doing the cleaning for hari raya.

my house is in a messssssssss. this is the only place in my house which looks neat and tidy. we're going to cleannn cleann cleannn the house tomorrow. and since my brother is tall, we dont have to use a ladder to clean the ceiling fan. haha, he can reach the fan even without using a ladder.lol bagus. saturday was our first trip to geylang and omg it was so full of humans and cars! managed to get what we wanted to buy but then my mom woke up early on sunday to complain that she didnt have enough of geylang. hahaha so, we went there once again on sunday. okay, 2 trips to geylang is enough for this year. go geylang can see so many things sia. woman who look like man lah, mat and minah lah, tatoo here and there, sexy people, can see elfaezah ulhaq, can see rafaat hamzah, can see sarkasi said, can see aliff azizZZZZZZZ. hehe see so many people, smell so many different kinds of smell, breathe in different kinds of air. but we had fun. i think this year's raya is gonna be superb, insyallah.

hwehwehwe. yesterday morning, the school called me up

again but i was still snoring in bed. i finally woke up when

they called me the fifth time but as i was about to press

the answer button, they put down the phone. so, i called back

and told mdm lim that i couldnt make it. huaaaaa, kesian.

tday the school didnt call me up and so, i stayed

at home and baked more cookies. haha, i've been at home

alone all this while. nothing else accompanied me except for

the flour, butter, chocolate chips, rasins, oats, almonds,

vanilla and the oven. i had songs blasting from the radio

while baking and i had fun alone. OH AND I LOVE WATCHING THE RACHEL RAY SHOW! i just love to see her cook! hehehe.

i realised that i've become a

clean freak these few days. i dont know why but i feel

uncomfortable with the cookie batter all over my fingers. haha,

every now and then, i'll go to the kitchen sink to wash my

hands and dry them with the kitchen tissue. i think mom's

gonna whip me for finishing a whole roll of kitchen tissue.

i had a call from melissa who was overly excited about

baking her cookies yesterday! serious ah mel, i tak

pernah dgr ur voice so happy before. so funny.

wait you come my house eat la my cookies, then you can

bring your tupperware to my hse also, then can bring back the

cookies.hehehehe.i cant wait to jalan raye with you and nadiah!

i realised that all the cookies that i've baked are

either round or they're in the small papercups. haha, i couldnt

be bothered to mold them into cute shapes. round cookies looks

nice also what rite? my mom says i'm lazy and the cookies

aaahhh this is my best holiday ever!! hehe. i'm gonna be

& so i met cikgu nadiah in school today!
welcome to the house. hehehe so fun, at least i got friend :)

i had malay and CME lessons again but HANGMAN
didnt work today. so i had to bring up the big storybooks
to read to the pri 1 kids. but the day in school was still fun.
i received more colourful papers with my name on it. hahaha goodness they're so cute! the students from yesterday's
class still remember my name and everytime i pass by their
classroom, they'll call my name. hehehehe awwww ;)
i heard them calling my name again when i was
fetching the other class from the porch after recess.

tomorrow is rest day and i think i'm gonna bake

OH, MY BLOG KARAT ALR.

haha sry eh, ayuni busy ah these few days :D

so, lets start with ramadhan on wheels.

response for the event was so overwhelming that they had to reshuffle the groupings and so, we were seperated from last week's grouping. haha, bye KOMA! my name wasnt on the list when we first went to register to get the t-shirts. then, i had to write my name on a seperate sheet of paper and they told me that they were going to inform me about my group later on. the other girls already know which groups they were in and i was the only one without a group. hehe. so, nadiah's coursemates (my new friends :D) and i went into the auditorium to settle down to wait for the drivers to arrive. waited quite long then finally i received a call from a guy pronouncing my name as NURAAAIINIIII not NURAYUNI. hahaha lol kape. he said i'll be joining group number 34. so, the first person i met from my group was the driver himself, our handsome plus hot gila abang ISSSS! then i met another new group mate, rizuan.then, they asked if i had any friends whose driver wasnt there yet. at that time, nadiah's driver wasnt there yet. so, i brought nadiah along to join our group. then i realised that there were only 3 of us in a group (there was suppose to be 4), so we called nadiah's coursemate, rezeki to join our group. woa best & yea we had fun :)

it was kind of akward when we first started the house visiting trip to the first house but as we proceeded on to the 2nd and the 3rd house, we kind of got used to what we were suppose to do when we reach the place. macam routine gitu eh. haha abeh survey semua tolak pat aku eh korang. bahasa melayu aku best. huahaua, and nadiah said we were like business men, selling & asking the people to do a survey on the stuff that we have brought for them. siao, then she told me that i gave the aunty a very firm handshake after the survey, hahaha feeling feeling business man gila.

eh whatever it is rite, i'm very sure that i had a great time with my group mates. lucky got nadiah and rezeki, weewit! oh lucky got rizuan to snap snap our pics, make funny stupid faces and to layan we all. oh and lucky got HOT abg isssss to drive us to the houses without getting lost. best!

yesterday i spent the whole day baking the raya cookies.

YAY YAY dah nak raye, wheeeee :D

and this morning, yuhua primary school called me

up to ask if i was free to do relief teaching. haha, i said i was

free and soon, i found myself reporting at the school's general

office signing some documents. omg, i cant believe that the

children actually called me teacher just now. hahaha! fyi, i was a former student in yuhua pri. and i met a few of my primary school teacherswho got excited upon seeing me there. haha, cikgu seri was the first teacher who recognized me and she was the one who showed me around the staff room. i got to teach malay language to the primary 2 and primary 1 malay students. what an experience!the children were so adorable until i wanna take them home. of course, they were noisy and it got a little chaotic at some times but i managed to draw their attention by playing HANGMAN!the whole day was filled with "cikgu, cikgu", so many questions to be answered and the most popular question of the day was "cikgu blh saye pergi ke tandas". lol so cute. and they even asked for permission to throw rubbish into the dustbin okay. i know, i very jakon! hehehe. the primary 1 students were such an adorable bunch. hahaha, so much for "there's always a first time for everything". what an experience, hehe!

yes, i had a good night sleep yesterday

yesterday i went out with nadiah & we broke fast

prayers. i think people like these are just being really

disrespectful to their own religion. but then again,

spastic ah me* then i told nadiah that the TOY bread

was soft as i squeezed it right infront of her eyes. then,

nadiah looked at me strangely and told me that it was

a real bread!! OMG PAISEH!! i quickly ran out of the shop

without even looking back. hahahahahhaa. omg so

embrassing. the bread really didnt appear to me like

it is a real bread. it really looked like a toy cos they drew

eyes on to the cute bread. eeee malu i *covers face*

our hearts on saturday.

so, yesterday the ROW volunteers spent more than half a day at eunos cc to pack the stuff which we will be bringing to the houses next saturday. upon regestration, i found out that nadiah and i wont be in the same group. we were seperated but
our group numbers werent far from each other.

my group consists of 3 members which includes
a secondary school girl who is quiet and
refuses to communicate much with me and my other
group member who is an ite guy and i myself. i cant wait to
see the outcome of my group this
coming saturday. we'll see how things
work out. woa, exciting nyer. overall, it was a
nice experience. i got to meet new people and made new
friends. *thumbs up*

so, nadiah and i made 2 new friends (2 nerdy ite guys,

one from my group and another from nadiah's

group) who eventually insisted on breaking fast together

with us after the whole ROW packing session.

yesterday, we saw kaki spider on the train *makan sakura

punye sushi sedap k yuni kau tgk skrg*, we met 2 new friends,

one friend with a kaki spider, we got lost searching for ljs,

felt guilty to have left the 2 new friends at bk, bought

white spots infested chocolate from cheers, made the supervisor

throw around 5 boxes of the chocolate and in the end she

gave us a refund. hahaha.

oh, on friday night, nadiah showed me some

videos of people eating animals such as monkeys,

cicak (lizards) and rats. they call it exotic food. omg crazy!

the thought of the monkey's face being tortured

is so saddening. i want to cry and laugh at the same

time cos the monkey's face was funny but the thought of

it being dumped into the fire and after that cooked

in hot soup is so sad. cruel humans.

woah, i've never ever been as high as this.

my head feels so heavy.

i'm battling against my thumping head which is

suffering from severe migraine. my whole body

aches and i'm not moving anything else except

for my fingers to type this post out. haha. ayuni eksyen

i think i'm just exhausted. everyday i wake up, i'll

have this feeling that the ceiling is spinning you know.

i went shopping with nadiah this morning and we

bought a few stuff. the weather was cooling in

the morning but when we got to bugis in the afternoon,

it was scorching hot and the both of us almost fainted ah.

today i went out with this girl

with her heels and ended up going back home to change

to slippers cos her heels were spoilt.

what, i realise that i did stupid stuff during those days.

voice girl. yea, even just the thought of it seems

befriending this girl who was sitting infront of my table.

my first impression about her was that she looked

like a gangster anak metropolitan and i was

kinda shock when she turned behind and ask me this

question which will still make me smile to myself up till now.

hehehe, and from then, we became close buddies.

then came rustini, the girl who wanted to be the

we even had this secret diary which we shared our

stories (actually not stories ah, we wrote song lyrics

inside the small notebook). omg, how lame can

this get? hahaha! when i think back about it, i wanna laugh.

more serious into our studies, leaving rustini behind.

see, humans change and we changed for the

better. we became good students and i even

came in to be the top 5 in class. even i myself

was shock by the change i've made. huhu.

i went home and attended to my sick dad. he's

gotten food poisoning from smthing he ate. i think

my dad has a weak stomach and his stomach is

really sensitive to what he eats. yesterday night,

he vomited a few times before going to bed. this morning,

the doctor diagnosed him with food poisoning.

haha, i dont know what he ate but yea,

food poisoning. so kesian. he's okay now.

tday, the kitchen is clean and tidy cos

we didnt cook. ahaa. brother and i had to go buy food

cos i didnt know what to cook for break fast and

i didnt have the time to cook. heehoo.

hello hotboni,
its the 3rd day of ramadhan and i'm loving
every second of it. its always this time of the year
when my family gets much more closer, sharing common
interests such as cooking, baking, sewing and decorating
the house for the big day, hari raya. i've always liked
helping out in the kitchen to prepare for our break fast meals.
for the past 2 days, i've been cooking for the family.
i've got to help cos my mom will reach home late,
just in time to break fast. we had spaghetti for the first day and
yesterday, my dad made burgers. huahua. my dad makes good
burgers and he's good at making a big mess in the kitchen too.
well, i'm just greatful to have a dad who can cook and
sew curtains :) heeee.

in times like this, i only think of one person
whom i really miss so much. even my dad was talking
about her yesterday while preparing the burgers.its gonna be our 2nd year not having her in our house during hari raya. in a way, it feels kind of empty.
i still remember having her to wake us upduring our pre-dawn meals, having her sitting at thedining table, breaking fast together. having her to constantly
nag at us not to miss our prayers. haha, i just miss her presence. i wonder how she's doing right now. everyday i pray for her, hoping that she's doing just fine. insyallah, she's fine.

i've been pondering a lot about life the past few
days. yesterday night, i was tossing around my bed,
thinking about the memories
i've shared with the people who used to
exist and who still exist in my life. i thought about the times
i made them happy, the times i made them angry
and the things we learnt from each other. haha, bitter,
sweet, sour memories linger through my mind till i
shut my eyes to a good night sleep. one thing i've
learnt from all this pondering is that memories
will remain as memories, no matter how hard you
try to erase them. BUT, life still goes on :)

i cannot believe that i'm actually turning

18 this year. after 18 years of living, i think i've

grown to be wiser in making decissions. i've tried

not to repeat mistakes but sometimes, its just unavoidable.

after 18 years of living, i know i've made a few

changes in my life that have turned my life

into a better one. i've learnt how to judge, critisize

and think my own way. after 18 years of living,

i am what i am now. without the people around me,

i wouldnt have learnt much from what life

i think i have to go find something interesting

to do. its funny how i can have so many things

the very second i finished my prac retest on friday,

i rushed to the school bus stop to take a bus to

meet nadiah who was eagerly waiting for me to

go swimming! i think we spent more than 3 hours

in the waters. after so many days of wanting to go

swimming, we finally went for it.

wooo yea. i had a great start for my holidays.

on saturday, i went to geylang with my family

to buy some hari raya stuff. new curtains,

new everything la. haha. then, we went to my grandmother's

house and after that, we went to tampines IKEA

i can feel the raya mood now. i cant wait to buy

new raya clothes too, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D :D:D

today, RSAF open house @ paya lebar air base.

we had to walk here and there but overall, it

was a fun day filled with thrills and joy.

i actually wanted to go for the open hse with

my cousin but she ended up bringing her bestie

along and so, i brought nadiah along too. the

4 of us were walking together at first, but along the way,

nadiah and i kind of went to our own ways.

ehh, since i'm bored, let me share with
you my gems essay which i wrote within 30 minutes,
early in the morning last weeek :)

The cold night breeze gave us a chill as we sneaked through the barbed fence. My heart raced faster than ever while we carried out our mission. I never thought that my nasty thoughts could end up into an action which will make me feel guilty throughout my whole life (cognitive dissonance). Ali and I have decided to find freedom after years of deprived life in the orphanage. We never meant to hurt anyone, we just wanted to break free from the orphanage and find freedom from the outside world. (action perceptual change). Just when I thought everything will go according to plan, we saw bright lights shining onto our faces. From then onwards, I wished I could turn back time and never did what we planned. I never would have imagined the shame I would face towards the other children in the orphanage. I was afraid that they would look down on Ali and I for wanting to break out from the orphanage (social ostracism). But I wasn’t too afraid because I knew that I could count on Ali, who has been my best friend ever since I entered the orphanage (self affirmation). We have made a promise that both of us have to share the responsibility of our actions (diffusion of responsibility).

Ever since I entered the orphanage, I never had a close friend, not until Ali came. All the other boys were so united and they often bullied me, making me feel like the odd one out. As most of the boys there are bigger and older than me, they tend to have more autonomy to do what they like to me (ageism). Therefore, I was a quiet boy throughout my stay at the orphanage (psychological reactance). Due to this, I’d always compare myself to the rest of the boys (social comparison). One day, Ali and I came together and decided to run away from the orphanage, to another place where we thought we’d feel much safer, somewhere more suitable for us. I figured that no one liked my presence in the orphanage, so why bother staying in a place like that (external attribution).

But that was just my side of the story. Maybe the boys have got nothing against me and maybe I’m just overreacting to their behaviour towards me (counterfactual thinking). Nevertheless, I shall not look back at the mistakes that I have done. I look forward to start a new life and not be affected by minor issues that people think about me.

thank you nadiah for becoming my subject

for my extra lab session yesterday although

you didnt have any refractive error but still, i managed

to practice my techniques and woohoo,

i think i'm gonna get a pass for my subjective

refration prac exam *smiles widely*.

okay, slit lamp, Kmeter and opthalmascopy is

next. i hope i can do it.

then, i went to her sch's library cos nadiah had to

settle her book-making assignment. once settled,

i thought of going home but thanks to her, i was dragged along
to SAKURA with her family to celebrate
her parent's 25th wedding anniversary *weewitt*.

i didnt want to go at first but nadiah

insisted. thank you cik esah, nadrah and cik ahamed.

i think i cried a lot this week. i cried during lab cos

i was too stress while doing subjective refraction.

not that i was doing the steps wrongly. i dont know why,

suddenly my eyes welled up with tears. i just felt so lousy.

i'm so caught up with school. exams are coming real

soooooooooonnnnnn and next week is gonna be a jam packed

week with loads of prac exams and tests. i dont have a study

week, how unfair. so, i shall make full use of the time

i've been given. i just hope that everything will be fine. i dont want

to get disappointed with myself all over again. i have to put

in effort. omg. whats gotten into me? i've become so

emotional. i think i better stop thinking too much about

small matters and direct myself to a positive route.
